Calypso Boracay Diving Resort

Calypso Boracay Diving Resort is now Pinjalo Boracay Resort located on the famous Boracay White Beach, station 3. Set in private landscaped gardens, Pinjalo will be a very comfortable and relaxing part of your Boracay Vacation and very hard to leave behind.

ACCOMMODATIONS:

Calypso Boracay Diving Resort consist of the following Boracay Accommodations in a Boracay Hotel type.

7 - Standard Rooms; bright and spacious, each room has its own terrace overlooking the lush tropical gardens. Ideal for 1 or 2 people, there are also additional beds available if necessary.

1 - Junior Suite; this is a two level studio, with a fitted kitchen and lounge area with an upstairs bedroom; this is perfect for one person or a couple. All rooms overlook our lush tropical gardens.

1 - Deluxe Room; offer two levels. Perfect for 2 or 4 people. A large terrace overlooks the lush tropical gardens as does the upstairs bedroom.

1 – Suite; Our Pinjalo Boracay Suite is a beautifully designed two room apartment; really your home away from home. The Pinjalo Boracay Suit has two bedrooms; two large bathrooms, fitted kitchen, lounge and dining area.

RESTAURANT:
Calypso Boracay Restaurant is home to the famous “Wreck Bar” which overlooks the famous Boracay White Beach. Calypso Restaurant offer extremely sumptuous meals, like there Mongolian Bar-B-Q all served pool side,  and don’t forget some ice cold Boracay island cocktails at sunset.

FACILITIES:
Calypso Boracay Diving Resort is located directly on Boracay White Beach, directly next to Calypso Diving, there six rooms available. All rooms are stylish and uniquely decorated. A private sundeck rooftop overlooks Boracay Beach.

All the rooms at Pinjalo Resort Villas have a balcony and are fully air-conditioned with hot water showers; cable television and mini-bar.

GETTING TO BORACAY ISLAND PHILIPPINES:

VIA CATICLAN: Asian Spirit, SEAIR and Interisland Air Airlines fly from the Manila Domestic Airport to Caticlan Airport on Panay Island. Depending on the type of aircraft, Boracay flight times may vary from 55 minutes to 1 hour and SEAIR Boracay Flights are just 35 minutes. From the airport in Caticlan to the Jetty Port is just a 5-minute tricycle ride away. Then, a motorized banca (boat) will take guests on a leisurely 20-minute ride to Boracay Island Philippines.

Presidents Note: In April of 2006 Jane and I Flew to Boracay on the SEAIR Dornier 328, the flight was fast, just 32 minutes in total. Captain Mendoza chatted with Jane and I for some time and showed us around the plane. Captain Mendoza is a seasoned pilot and has flown many different types of aircraft over his long career, but he is very fond of the Dornier, and speaks very highly of it and its technology. If you are planning to fly SEAIR Boracay the cost is a little more, but if you have the need for speed then the Dornier 328 is your choice, and if you are as fortunate as Jane and I were you will meet Captain Mendoza.

VIA KALIBO: Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific and Air Philippines fly from the Manila Domestic Airport to Kalibo Airport in 45 minutes. From there, guests take a 1 hour scenic ride through Panay Island in an air-conditioned shuttle bus to the Caticlan Jetty Port. Then transfer to a motorized banca (boat) for a leisurely 20-minute ride to Boracay Philippines.

Presidents Note: As recently as July, 2006 my wife Jane and I traveled to Boracay for 15 days stay. After reading many negative articles on other Boracay Travel websites, about the trip to Boracay via Kalibo, we decided to travel the route ourselves and see first hand what it was like. First of all, the trip fantastic, a very enjoyable and relaxing trip. The Kalibo airport is really very nice, clean and very accommodating. Our transportation was provided by Southwest, the vans were comfortable, clean inside and cold air-condition. The ride itself was very scenic and pleasant, little to no traffic on the road, that by the way is nicely paved all the way. The van trip to and from Kalibo via Caticlan was nice, relaxing and a real opportunity to see some country side, and provinces of the Philippines.

If you are a foreigner like myself, you may very well enjoy this trip. The entire trip to Boracay may take you 1 hour longer, in total time, but it was not time I missed, I was with my lovely Filipina wife and we has a great trip to Boracay.
